Payment plans are particularly useful for classes that span an extended period, such as a year or multiple months, where the total amount may be substantial.
With payment plans, participants no longer need to pay the full amount upfront. Instead, they can choose to pay a deposit and split the remaining balance in monthly installments. But rest assured, there is no extra work for you (or your clients) as Activity Messenger fully automates the process. To make the registration process even smoother, you can add conditional logic to guide participants in finding their desired class effortlessly. |

1- Create a classFirst, you'll need to create a class following these steps: - Navigate to Classes
- Click on all classes and events
- Create or select the class for which you want to add a payment plan
|

2- Setting up a payment planNow, you'll need to determine how you wish to split payments. Activity Messenger offers fully customizable options (monthly or weekly, percentage or amount), allowing you to modify and adjust the payment plans to fit your needs. - Once you select a class, go to the payment plan option.
- Click on the + sign to set up your payment plan.
- Select an installment type (Amount or percentage).
- Add initial installment amount (deposit).
- Select number of payments, interval type, and other custom variables.

3- Adding the class to a formOnce the class and payment plan are setup, you will need to add the class to a registration form. - Select or create a registration form
- Add a new block and select class (under e-commerce)
- Finalize the form by adding other blocks with information you require for registration.

4- Invoice and paymentsActivity Messenger will create an invoice describing the initial deposit and all upcoming payments so your clients know exactly what to expect. Payments will then be taken at the right time using the credit card on file. |
